Gradient Yarn: Vendel
Vendel by MK Nance was part of our exclusive knit-along patterns of 2015. Written especially for our gradient yarn, this cables-and-lace stole asks for one Lilt Gradient Yarn pack, shown here in Sky.
This pattern's unique character is highlighted by using our gradient yarn, adding spice in the wide relief of reverse stockinette panels. Long and wrap-worthy, Vendel is a series of cables worked on the right side running from the 2-color cast on to the bind-off. I highly recommend that anyone knitting Vendel also place stitch markers between chart repeats to ensure you're keeping track of when and where to cross stitches.
In addition to gradient yarn, this pattern would also be lovely in a single solid color of Lilt Sock. Colors like Silverlight, Natural and Saltwater would be light and subtle, while Moonshadow, Zaffre or Falconer would show more of Lilt's silky shine without losing the ropy cabling. However you work it up, be sure to share with our Ravelry group.
Thanks for checking out another Monday Gradient Yarn Ideas post, and have a great week!
