Black Sheep Gathering 2015

As we get ready to head to Eugene for Black Sheep Gathering, I thought I would share a quick update about our plans for the rest of June.

WEBSITE: Stock will be little sparse on the website once we take everything down between Tuesday and Wednesday.  Like, ghost-town-sparse.  But not to worry, yarn will be returning next Monday and Tuesday (June 22nd & 23rd) after we unpack and count things.

BLACK SHEEP: The 41st annual Black Sheep Gathering has moved the marketplace entirely inside this year, to the main exhibit hall.  There are many upsides to this, in my humble opinion.  The bathrooms are better, the hall has A/C and wifi, and if you're not fond of the sheep-need-new-straw smell on Sunday, well.  There's a lot more collective space than previously, so there are a number of new vendors this year, too.  We'll be in booth S5, right next to the lovely Kate of Woolgatherings and her rainbow of gorgeous spinning fiber.

A special note for those of you coming on Friday - Debbi Stone will be in our booth promoting her designs.  We'll have copies of her latest published work (co-authored with Marcy Vandale under the moniker Adventure Du Jour Designs), called Road Trippin'.  This newest pattern is a lovely cowl that calls for two skeins of Prime, and we just happen to have dyed up about 30 colors just for the show.

In addition to Prime, we're bringing stock-on-hand of Pebble Sock, Lilt Sock, Silken Lace (mostly the 100g skeins) as well as our remaining Luxe Sport.  All of those full-size regular colors are in addition to the crazy amount of gradients we'll have with us.  We've been working like mad for the last few weeks to get as many colors as possible ready in both 500g and 165g Pebble Sock and Lilt Sock gradients.  We're bringing all our patterns, too, so don't worry about going home with ideas for your gradient haul.

HELIOS: For most everyone, kits have gone out and have already started arriving at their destinations.  If you're still in need of a kit and coming to Eugene this weekend, we'll be able to help you out.  Sorry, not Helios patterns seulement (by themselves).  Any stock we have left after the show will go back up on the website, but dyed-to-order 200g skeins won't be available to arrive before the KAL starts on July 1st.

I think that covers the immediate concerns for the next two weeks.  Summer is off to a fabulous start here in Oregon, and we expect to have lots of dyeing in our future.  Ciao!
