Gularis is one of those fantastically quick knits that has all the best kind of satisfaction. You get to use pretty colors, the lace pattern looks complex but turns out to be easily memorized, and the finished knit is fun and versatile to wear. Lynn does a great job with pattern writing, IMHO, taking great pains to make sure things are as clear as possible without overburdening the knitter with a huge number of pages to print or scroll through.
For this cowl, you'll need 1 - 165 gradient kit. Either the Lilt or Pebble Sock Gradients will work, and the pattern calls for Pebble Sock. (psst, I used Lilt because I like the way it feels next to the skin and the way it blocks) I chose Terra Cotta because I haven't used it yet for another sample. I wore the finished cowl against a black shirt and a gray sweater with my cute little Koi pendant necklace and the color really pops.
