I had to share an up-close of things now that I've been through the first repeat of Katie's Cockle shell lace pattern: The way I've organized the gradients, the next "shell" repeat will be green, and the one after that very dark pink. You know what else? The pattern, even with a few more repeats added to the smaller size so I could use 24 inch needles instead of 16, is going spectacularly fast. Love. I started a new boring sock for a palate cleanser - and these Christmas presents won't knit themselves. Very fall, very "guy" green. Yarn: Handmaiden Casbah Sock in Rainforest. 72 stitch very basic sock recipe on US 2 needles.
