Wavelength Cowl

I started a cowl last weekend to get through a few skeins of my Pebble Worsted leftovers. Talk about immediate gratification, this project took way less time than a pair of socks and I'm very happy with the way the colors turned out. The pattern is Wavelength by Kate Ray. It calls for a few more pattern repeats than I used, and smaller needles. I'm happy with mine, and apparently a little too into the whole chevron "thing" to maintain my usual aloofness to hip. We have our jack'o'lanterns-in-waiting on the front porch, and it has been so sunny I think we might hack these babies open out back and let the youngest boy have a good time with his art. I love being able to let the kids roam free with their messes and then have the hose ready when things wind down.
