Meeting Melissa Goodale of Stick Chick Knits at Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle was a hoot, and the pattern she's created from my newest yarn, Lilt, was a total smash. Here's a preview of the pattern: Today, pre-orders went up for the Castanets Knitalong kit. I've made several 2 skein options, see here and here, as well as a one skein kit option here. All kits are dyed-to-order and will arrive at your door (assuming there are no shipping hiccups) around June 1st when we begin the KAL. Here are a few more gratuitous pattern previews, because the photographer Mariana Kajlich, Melissa and the surprisingly cooperative Seattle weather did such an amazing job!: Here are a few important details about the Knitalong: - Our Castanets KAL will run from June 1 to August 31. - More information, pictures, chats and generally the super-fun social end of the KAL will be happening via my Ravelry group, Black Trillium Fibres. - The KAL kits include either 1 or 2 skeins of Lilt Sock (85% SW Merino and 15% Mulberry Silk, 405 yds per 100g skein), the printed pattern and a coupon code for your next purchase in my Etsy shop. - Castanets is available exclusively through kit pre-orders until September 2013.
