Newsbites 10/3/11

1. I have put up loads more yarn in the Etsy shop again - see here. 2. Just a reminder, there are still a couple of openings in my 2-ply fiber club. You get 2 - 4 ounce braids once a month for three months, dyed to coordinate so you can spin the braids separately and then ply them together. Or not, if your creative heart calls for something else.  It's going to be quite fun, you must join us! 3. I moved the "Wash" worsted weight superwash Merino yarn to the sale shop.  I'm unsure if the price point was a problem, or the fact that I only had two skeins per color, or maybe the yardage was not great, but I have not sold a single skein of the stuff.  I have come across a better options since dyeing and listing this yarn, so look for that to happen sometime in the future. 4. Loft Sock is finally up in quantity (and there's a bit more on the way for the next update) and you really must try it.  It's an 80/20 superwash BFL/Nylon fingering weight that will be awesome for socks because its sturdy, longwearing, and very silky and soft. It's all been listed in the Sock Weight Section. 5. I'm dyeing a heavier weight yarn I'm calling Superwash Bulky - a great yarn for quick holiday knits! I tested it over a weekend and made two adult-sized hats from one skein. And the colors are wicked good! 6. I still have just a few skeins of Wollmeise to sell. Email me if you're interested!  All skeins are $33 which includes domestic shipping. Left to right: Twin Bob WD & Ballerina, 100% Ballerina WD, Im Jahr der Ratte, blaue Tinte, Zimtapfel, Turkis.
