Can’t Knit? Blasphemy!

First, a nice cheery photo of the booth just before opening at Vogue Seattle 2014: We had a great show, as the gradients were as popular as I thought they’d be. We brought all forty-two colors to the show and … Continue reading

Whimsical Solids

New for Spring 2014, my latest assortment of colors bridges the gap between smaller pre-wound gradient kits and full sized individual multicolors. My initial offering of painterly semi-solids includes 12 colors with three shades each. To see color names, hover … Continue reading

Color Studies: Pea Green

I have lots of yarn to get ready to deliver this week, so these colors won’t be appearing on the Etsy site until next Monday. The good news about that is I get to put up one more set of color experiments I did before next week, and then I get to put together a rather large collection of what I call “Fat Quarters”. Continue reading

Down The Rabbit Hole

Dyeing large quantities of wool – big wholesale orders – is a lot like a rabbit warren. Each overlapping step takes on epic proportions when you’re talking about 400 skeins. Continue reading
